What is Pre-marital Coaching?

Coaching programs are designed to help the couple and the family deal with the challenges and problems of the moment. Coaching programs develop solutions and plan actions that create positive results that lead to spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.

What are People Saying!

"Ben and I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed this past weekend. We learned a lot about each other and took away new tools and understandings that will help us build a strong marriage. Thank you for welcoming us into your home and into your lives. Fondly,"

~ Chrisie and Ben ~

Because of the complexities that interfaith may bring to the marriage and family, private coaching workshops are offered for the couple some time before the actual ceremony. At that time the issues of marriage, interfaith, and children may be discussed. Rev. Dr. Rich and his wife, Patty, privately conduct these coaching workshops with just the one couple at any given time. Their own family of six children and eight grandchildren is both an integrated interfaith family and stepfamily.

The public and most churches have come to realize the degree of challenge inherent in creating a thriving marriage. The ACT II Pre-Marital Coaching Workshop helps develop the skills needed to meet the challenges of a new marriage and creates the openness and the communication required to address the following issues:

  • Understanding and Resolving Conflict
  • Religious and Cultural Differences
  • Wanting Children?
  • Choosing to raise them in which faith?
  • Child Rearing and Disciplinary Approaches
  • Children of Previous Relationships
  • Interracial, Ethnic and Cultural Issues
  • Understanding and Sharing Your Dreams with Your Partner
  • Money, Power, and Control Issues
  • Negotiation and Fair Fighting
  • Intimacy and Sexual Issues.

Donations to ACT II Inc. are tax deductible as contributions to a charitable organization.
