letters: Rev.Rich is also a Certified Reality Therapist and an Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor (ALPS). He currently a part time faculty member of the George Mason University and Marshall University Graduate College counseling departments, the William Glasser Institute for Reality Therapy, and the InternationalInstitute for Applied Control Theory (IAACT), where he teaches the following courses:

Dr. Rich is also certified in EMDR®, Hypnotherapy (Board Eligible), PAiiRS® Couples Counseling and Education, and Trauma and Loss in Children. He ties those disciplines to his interest in trauma recovery and relationship enhancement. Rev. Rich is an Ordained Interfaith Minister and a member of the Association for Interfaith Ministers (AIM) and Interfaith Ministries International. Dr. Rich has served two-terms as president of the WV Licensed Professional Counselors Association, as Chairman of the Prevention Committee of the Governor’s Task Force for Mental Health, and as a member of the Governor's Public School Mental Health Program Committee (WV). He has also served as president of the West Virginia Coalition of Professional Associations (COPA), a consortium of the Psychiatric, Psychological, Clinical Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing and Counseling Associations.
