What is Wellness Coaching?

Wellness coaching addresses the issues dealing with physical and medical challenges using complementary approaches to promote spiritual, emotional and physical balance and wellness.

Wellness programs involve coaching programs for mind, body, and spiritual healing. Wellness programs are holistically based, incorporating conventional medical and complementary approaches to healing. A variety of modalities may be employed, that may include: art therapy, journaling, sand tray, Reiki and energy medicine, meditation and prayer, yoga, tai chi, qi gong, visualization, EMDR, and hypnosis. All modalities are employed in a manner consistent with the scientific concepts inherent in modern psychoneuroimmunology, cellular biology and neurobiology.

Personal Retreats

Personal retreat programs for cancer patients and those facing other chronic or life-threatening health challenges such as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, MS, arthritis, diabetes, coronary disease as well as other auto-immune and inflammation-based diseases. These retreat programs are individually tailored to the needs of the individual, couple, or family who wishes to gain greater control over their lives and improve their quality of life.

Support Groups

Support groups for the local population who are dealing with the challenge of facing an acute or chronic life or health threatening illness. Support groups are also available to those who assume the role of caregivers.
